This Austin-born company started with two things: a 16-year-old’s need for better batting gloves and a dream to buy his first truck. What began as Bear Mayer’s high school project has grown into a family business with serious baseball roots.

BRUCE was Bear’s grandfather—a natural athlete with legendary stories (like turning two errors into an unassisted triple play). The BOLT? That comes from Bruce surviving two lightning strikes. Together, the name reminds us: every moment counts, and every day is a chance to improve.

We don’t just make batting gloves—we obsess over them. Each design goes through endless revisions because we’re always asking:

• Will these materials last longer?
• How does this help players elevate their game?
